Indiana
I was born in the crossroads state
Got knocked down in the same place I was raised
Thought the answer was traveling far
But where you come from never leaves who you are x2
I miss it, and I’m still learning how to be gone
I miss it, never thought I would something feels wrong
I am just a midwestern kid
It seems growing older is all I ever did
I crave the touch of that Indy wind
Reminds me how it feels to be a child again x2
I miss it, and I’m still learning how to be gone
I miss it, never thought I would something feels wrong
But the memories it holds, that’s all that it means
What I choose to cherish, what I wished let me be
I would just miss the place if that was easy to do
But in Indiana, all I miss is you x2
I miss you, it’s becoming so hard to be gone
I miss you, if only moving meant moving on
